FEINGA FINDS NEW HOME

Crimes don’t always happen at gunpoint in the middle of the night. Sometimes they happen on NFL draft day when some of the best players are overlooked by the media and NFL brass from Phoenix to Flushing Meadows and end up fighting their way through tryouts to make a roster.
Former BYU Cougar Ray Feinga was robbed on draft day, but thankfully the former Utah Mr. Football and All Mountain West standout spent a tumultuous summer in St. Louis where he was eventually waived by the Rams on July 1st. He travelled back to the west coast for a brief stint with the Chargers who waived him just before the regular season.
Feinga has been on the east coast in Miami since December 12th and has impressed the coaching stuff enough to work his way into a possible two-year deal with the Dolphins.
Feinga joins recently signed Hawaii alum Ikaika Alama-Francis who spent the past two years on the Detroit Lions defensive front before signing with Miami last month.

He was overlooked for a REASON. Or maybe even several. I wouldn't count on him making the 53 man Roster for Regular season, theres already too much talent on that line. I wish him luck but the current talent on the line, speaks for itself. Practice squad isn't so bad though. Pretty good Paycheck and all the loyalties the Mrs. is LOOKING FOR!

Good Luck Mr. Feinga.

Hello Anon,
Thank you for your comments. I'm always interested in hearing feedback about players or topics I write about. I'd like to hear your opinions and specific examples of why you think Feinga is not considered a viable option on the starting line up or in a back up role in the NFL. Should Feinga even be in the NFL and why? I'd love to hear your opinions.

Regards,
Seti

PS.. thank you Seti for the blog and looking out for Ray always. We appreciate your love for the polynesian athletes.. It's too bad there's those 'spectators' who act as if they sit in on meetings and are at practice. I take it very personal when people talk about Ray. Few know how hard he works and how important this is to him and how hard of a road it is, and even fewer respect that.

So Mrs., I guess its against your rules to have an opinion of my own and share on a blog such as this? Or is it the fact that I don't AGREE with the perspective you have of your husband? It sounds like that is it! I never said I wasn't happy for him-I was just sharing MY opinion of what type of Football player I think he is.
FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

The BOTTOM LINE is....Your husband was NOT drafted, he then was overlooked and CUT from a couple different teams- for several reasons listed on his statistic profile and I have seen first hand when he played for BYU! (sorry just stating the facts) And the percentage of him making a team after not being drafted or being kept for a practice squad are slim to none if he doesnt make it within the first year-NOT IMPOSSIBLE just extremely difficult-espcially when you don't stand out!! Statistics will tell you this. Hey, If he makes it-That's great! He obvisouly would deserve it for working hard. But, if he doesn't, That won't surprise me. But, here's an idea-This is a forum where all are entitled to our OWN opinion. So GET OVER IT!! The world doesnt revolve around you and PLEASE GROW UP. I don't need to call you on your phone to DISPUTE or argue an opinion that is obviously MINE!!! You need to tell your husband to put a muzzle on you mouth!

I AM POSITIVE I am not the ONLY one who shares this opinion, so what are you going to do-Fight with everyone about what kind of a Football player your husband is? I'm sure Ray is confident in his ability and doesn't need you going on blogs trying to ruffle feathers just because they don't SHARE your opinion of him. I would be embarassed if I were you! He is trying to work in a Buisness where everyone can judge for themselves-so let us do that! And ten maybe you can get off your high horse!
