Deseret News released their All-Region Football teams yesterday. Among the notables are Syracuse Kicker Josh Kealamakia and Peni Maka'afi (Northridge). American Fork's Sam Katoa won Co-Offensive Lineman honors. Tevita Vaitohi (Spanish Fork) and Jordan Pili (Timpanogos) were First Team honoree's.Isi Sofele (picture courtesy of Deseret News) was named the Region 6 MVP and Highland's Latu Heimuli is Region 6's top Defensive Player. Cottonwood was this year's runner-up in the 4A finals but they ran away with the hardware in regards to Region 6 honors with a number of players on the 1st and 2nd team lists. One name to watch for next season, Granger lineman Manu Mulitalo.
